Infrastructure - Garforth Station Footbridge
The grade 2 listed footbridge at Garforth station is a standard North Eastern Railway design and once commonplace throughout the North Eastern Region. I'm not too keen on the font used on the platform signs which are incorrect serif typefaces!! It was built around 1900. Photographed from a passing train on 12th May 2015.
Of note here is that originally the road bridge was built to accommodate four tracks, of which only two were ever built.
